How does it work? What’s your process?

Take a look at Consultations (make a direct link for the word consultations). It's a simple process, simply request an appointment, select fabrics and get styling recommendations, design your suit on our device that’ll include visuals of each part of your future garment, get fitted by our tailor, and take home your custom suits, custom shirts, and other custom clothing in approximately two to three weeks.

Do we make other clothing besides custom suits, custom shirts, and custom tuxedos?

Yes, we also make custom cotton trousers (check out our J. Casual line) custom sport coats, and custom short sleeve dress. We have 100s of fabrics available and can craft both dress up and casual looks with each of our custom clothing items.

Do we make home or office calls?

Yes, we travel and will come to you! A traveling fee may be appointed depending on the distance, and or if flight and lodging is needed. Please email us to at info@jbilesartorial.com to make arrangements.

How long does it take to have a custom garment made?

Generally our custom garments takes two to three weeks depending on fit complexity, and fabric availability. Wedding groups or bigger groups are encouraged to make timely payments and fittings in order to allow enough time for our tailor to make any adjustments without rush. If you need your clothing expedited, we may be able to arrange a faster turnaround time for an additional fee.

Are there extra alteration costs?

No to our Houston clientele, alterations or adjustments are included, saving you an additional $200-$300 vs. off-rack. However, to our clients out of the Houston area, we advise you to meet with a seamstress or master tailor for alterations. Our crafted garments usually do not need much altering considering the amount of measurements we perform. The most a client has ever paid towards additional alterations was $40.

*Except in rare instances of extreme weight loss and/or gain between order date and first fitting. The best approach is to let us know if you are anticipating a weight loss/gain so that we can work together.

Do you have a referral program or are there any discounts offered?

A referral program? Absolutely! Refer a friend and get a free custom dress shirt when they purchase their first custom suit/tuxedo.

We also offer discounts for groups, wedding parties, law firm, you get the picture. Please email for details at info@jbilesartorial.com

Do we offer custom women’s clothing?

Yes, we craft for women as well. One extra measurement will be conducted, but our tailor uses the same body measurements as our men clientele. An agreement will be asked to be signed by both the client and our tailor to hold our tailor accountable and to ensure our women clientele are comfortable throughout their tailored moments.

Can we tailor your existing (non- J. Biles) clothing?

Unfortunately, no. We focus our tailor’s efforts on crafting the best fit possible for our clients who purchase a JBS collection and do not have the capacity or facilities to offer non-clients alterations services.

What is the recommended care for custom garments?

We recommend laundering with a dry cleaner that will also hand-press the custom shirts. Avoid starch (which breaks down the fibers more quickly), and have shirts laundered, not dry cleaned.

Dry clean your suits no more than a few times per year, and always together. Spot clean when necessary (woolite works well at home). Always hang your suits on a contoured suit hanger to preserve the shoulder’s shape and to release wrinkles.
